Invite your team
Send invitations from Company Admin, add people to a project with a permission template, and bring in outside companies like subs and architects.

On this page
Getting someone working on a job takes two things: an account in your company, and a place on the project with a permission template. This page covers both.
Who can invite
Company admins. If you started a free trial, you are the first company admin.
Send an invitation
-
Open Company Admin → Invitations
Company Admin lives at
app.os.construction/companies/<your company>/admin. Pick Invitations in the left menu. -
Enter a name and email
Fill in Name and Email and select Send invitation. The person gets an email with a one-time account link. The link expires after 7 days.
-
Track it
The list shows each invitation with its expiry and status: Pending, Accepted, Expired or Revoked. Select Revoke to cancel one that hasn’t been accepted. To resend, revoke it and send a new one.
The person opens the link, sets a password and signs in at app.os.construction/login. An account on its own doesn’t show any project: add them to one next.
Add someone to a project
-
Open the project’s Directory tool
Select Add Person. Enter their email (and name, phone and job title if you like).
-
Pick their company and template
Under Company Information & Project Permissions, choose the company they work for, a Project Role and a Project Permissions Template. The template decides what they can do in each tool on this project.
-
Save
They now see the project when they sign in. To change their access later, edit their entry in Directory, or use the project’s Admin tool → Permissions → User Permission Assignments.
Access is per project. Someone who works three jobs needs a template on each of the three.
Outside companies
Subs, suppliers, architects and owner’s reps get accounts the same way. Add their firm as a company in the project Directory first, so their people are grouped under it, then add each person with a template that fits: the default Subcontractor template can work RFIs, submittals and punch items and read everything else. Narrow it if they shouldn’t see drawings, the schedule or any financial tool.
When someone leaves
Deactivate their account (clear Active? on their Directory entry) or, with SCIM, deprovision them from your identity provider. Deactivated users can’t sign in, and their history stays on every record they touched.
