Know if the job makes money this week, not at closeout.
T&M tickets, labor hours, materials and change orders hit job cost the day they happen. Retainage stays in view. Pay-when-paid exposure and lien deadlines are planned.

Your week today vs. on one record.
Five things that come around every week or every month in the Specialty seat. Flip the switch.
- 01
Get T&M tickets signed and billed Live
Paper tickets ride in the truck. Signatures get chased, tickets get typed into billing weeks later, and some never get billed at all.
The foreman writes the ticket in the browser, against the project and cost codes, ready for the change order and the next billing.
WeeksSame day - 02
Track labor productivity against the estimate Preview
Timesheets go to payroll, payroll goes to job cost, and the report shows up a month after the hours were burned.
Timesheets are coded to cost codes daily, approved, and compared with the budget while there is still time to fix it.
MonthlyDaily - 03
Build the pay app to the GC Preview
Re-key your SOV into the GC's format, then back it up with spreadsheets of stored materials and approved changes.
Bill the GC on the commitment: SOV, approved changes and stored materials come from the job record. You review and submit.

Track retainage and pay-when-paid exposure Preview
Retainage held is a number in the AR aging that nobody fully trusts. Who is waiting on whose owner is tribal knowledge.
Retainage held per job and per contract on every billing. Planned: pay-when-paid status per GC.
Half a dayA glance - 05
Protect your lien rights Planned
Preliminary notice dates live in a calendar, or in one person's head.
Planned: notice and lien dates calculated from job dates and flagged ahead of time, as reminders you confirm with counsel.

Crew clocks in to cost codes
The foreman enters hours by cost code in the phone browser. No timesheet to retype tonight.
Extra work, T&M #31
Owner-requested outlets in L3. Photos, labor and material on the ticket.
PM spots the overrun
26 Electrical is running 4% over on labor. The PM drills into the phase while it can still be fixed.
Invoice caught before it is paid
Planned: the invoice-to-PO check flags INV-4471 for $48,200, $6,150 over what is left on PO-118.
Billing draft updates
T&M #31 and stored materials are on next month's pay app draft.
Owner checks exposure
Retainage held by GC on one screen. Pay-when-paid status is planned.
Glossary
Straight answers.
Is this built for GCs, or for trades too?
Both. Labor-heavy trades are where job cost, T&M and retainage decide whether a job makes money, so specialty contractors are a core part of the founding cohort.
Do my GCs need to be on os.construction?
No. You can run your side on your own. You can also be invited into a GC's project with access to your scope. Neither is required.
Will it track lien deadlines for my state?
Planned. We are designing deadline reminders from job dates. Lien rules vary by state and change over time, so any date it shows is a reminder to confirm with your counsel, not legal advice.
What about certified payroll and prevailing wage?
It is on the list to scope with founding contractors. We will not claim it until it is built and checked.
Is it live today?
Yes. The project and project-financial tools are live. Start a 14-day free trial. Company Accounting is available for evaluation; AI agents are planned.
