Goal: Read and draft a G702/G703 pay app, and leave with a plan for your own first project.
The Payment Applications tool builds the monthly progress bill in the AIA G702/G703 layout. Lines come from the contract’s schedule of values, executed change orders are added to line 2 for you, and retainage is calculated per line.
The sample project has Pay Apps #1 to #9 against the prime contract, with 10% retainage. Financials tracks the project pay app and project cash. Company Accounting covers the ledger, payables, receivables and payroll; review and reconcile records across the two workflows.
