About os.construction

Construction runs on disconnected software.
We're building the operating system.

Today a single change order gets typed into the field app, the project tool, the accounting system, a spreadsheet and an email thread. We think it should exist once, and every part of the business should read from it.

The mission

From six places to one record.

os.construction puts project management, construction accounting, analytics and AI agents on one shared data core. When the super logs a hidden condition, the RFI, the change order, the budget, the commitment and the next pay app all update from the same record.

No double entry. No nightly sync. No reconciling three versions of job cost before a WIP meeting.

Today, one change order lives in six places and gets re-keyed into each. In the OS, every tool reads and writes the same record.
Principles

What we won't compromise on.

  1. 01

    One record

An RFI, a change order, a commitment and a pay app are one connected record, not four copies in four systems. Enter it once in the field; the office, the books and the forecast see it.

  2. 02

    Humans approve, agents work

AI agents do the repetitive work: coding invoices, drafting COs, chasing lien waivers. A person approves every action that matters, and every action is logged.

  3. 03

    Construction-literate

Built around SOVs, cost codes, retainage, AIA G702/G703 billing and WIP, not bent from generic project software. If it doesn’t speak construction, it doesn’t ship.

  4. 04

    Your data is yours

You own what you put in. You can export it. We don’t sell it, and we don’t train models on your company’s data without your permission.

  5. 05

    Build with the field

We design next to the supers, PMs and controllers who will use it. Founding contractors set the roadmap with real jobs, not slide decks.

Why now

Three things changed.

AI can finally do the paperwork

Language models can read an invoice, match it to a commitment and draft a change order. They need clean, connected data to do it well.

Integrations hit their ceiling

Most stacks are stitched together with nightly syncs and exports. Every sync is a place for numbers to drift and for a fade to hide.

Margins leave no slack

When a few points of fade can wipe out a job’s profit, waiting for month-end to see it is no longer good enough.
