## How to use it

1. Write the ticket the same day, before the crew leaves. Next week nobody remembers the hours.
2. Describe the work and why it is extra: who directed it, and the RFI, drawing or event behind it.
3. One line per person-trade, piece of equipment and material, each with quantity, unit and a cost code.
4. Fill in your contract rates as unit costs, or leave them blank for the office to price; markup goes on the change, not the ticket.
5. Get the owner’s or GC’s field representative to sign on the day. A signature confirms the hours and materials, not entitlement to payment.
6. Attach the signed ticket as backup when you price the change event or change order.
